Greg Beecham
Greg Beecham has
been a professional artist for thirty-one years. He has participated
in the Western Visions Miniatures show at the National Museum
of Wildlife Art in Jackson, WY for the past nine years. He is
the recipient of the Red Smith Artist's Choice award at that
show. Greg has shown at the prestigious Prix de West show at
the National Cowboy Hall of Fame in Oklahoma City, OK for the
past three years, winning hte Major General and Mrs. Donald
D. Pittman wildlife award in 2008. He has also participated
in the Gilcrease Museum's miniature show, Arts for the Parks
Top One-hundred, Leigh Yawkey Woodson Museum's Birds in Art
Show, as well as the Wyoming Governor's Show at Cheyenne Frontier
Days. A member of the Northwest Rendezvous Group of Artists,
he has won their People's Choice Award . Both Western Art Collector
and Persimmon HIll magazines have featured Beecham in the past
year..
Beecham Lives at 7,300 feet in the Wyoming Rockies with his
wife of 31 years, Lu, and their daughter Sarah. Their son Sam
will be deploying for his second tour in Iraq later this spring.
Greg is a member of the Society of Animal Artists.
